Au Pair & Nanny Placements

An Au Pair is generally a young female who has come from a foreign country to assist a family with their children as well as doing some light housework.  An Au Pair would generally live in your home, working a 25 hour week. Often Au Pairs are also expected to do two nights of babysitting.

A Nanny usually has experience with children and some may have a childcare qualification. They would work in your home but usually they live out and are paid by the hour, depending on their experience.  In order to qualify for Childcare Vouchers, Nannies need to be Ofsted Registered.

It is common for Nannies to be solely responsible for the children, but in order to work more hours, general housework duties may be requested.
