A Childminder usually looks after the children within the facilities of her own home. It is desirable for a Childminder to be Ofsted registered, which will enable you to qualify for Childcare vouchers.

Where Childminding is done in the home of the Childminder, Babysitting is done in your home, usually while the children are asleep on an ad-hoc basis.
